The Assembly resolved to help children with cerebral palsy. The children and parents are still waiting on the support. Figures from the Department of Education
show that at 17 June 20008 over 8971 children were at Stage 3 of the 5 Stage Code of Practice waiting to be assessed by the Boards.

Conductive Education is a holistic approach to learning.
The Principal will assess the child and set the targets. Success will be built on succes. It is essential for progress to be made for the Conductor to have the confidence of the child. |

Conductive Education is used in many schools and units in the UK, Europe and America to teach children with cerebral palsy. It is successful. The Assembly commended the work of Buddy Bear School but the Education Boards claim that they can meet the needs of children in grant aided schools. The same Boards have 8971 children waiting to be seen by a specialist for assessment. What about early assessment and intervention? |

Demi Lee loves to be at school.
Demi Lee has met the Minister of Education and many MLAs in the hope of showing them the benefits of Conductive Education.
The MLAs voted to support Conductive Education but the funds have not been provided. Parents are now forced to fund raise to keep the school open. Why? |
