First Minister makes important introduction at annual David Ervine Lecture

Peter Robinson was pleased to be able to introduce Brendan McConville chairman of The Buddy Bear Trust to Tom Moran and Edward Kenney from Mutual of America at this year’s David Ervine lecture. Mr Robinson took the opportunity to inform them that at the height of the troubles the community was able to unite together in support of the work the Buddy Bear Trust carries out for children with cerebral palsy in Northern Ireland.
Mr. McConville said "the charity has enjoyed the support of Dr Paisley and Mr Robinson and his party for over 25 years and that all parties in the Assembly have demonstrated time and time again there support to provide conductive education for children with cerebral palsy and their parents".
Mr Moran made the special visit to The Oh Yeah venue Belfast, to speak at the lecture and commend the work of the David Ervine Foundation with cross community projects - Barbara McCann (ex BBC) is finalising an information video about the work of the Buddy Bear School and the generous support of the Northern Irish people, which will be sent to Mr Moran and Mr Kenney, Northern Ireland MLA's an MP's and hopefully to President Obama via our friendship with the US Consul General.
